…if you have to decide every “morning”, where to go swimming.
– Rough waves or calm water?
– Light blue or deep green?
– White or yellow sand?
– Softy smooth or pebble stones?
– Just walk or do a 10 minute bike ride?
– Shady pine trees or burning sun?
– Packed with Bikini models or lonely shores?
Better not to rush into any stressy decisions – sleep about it…

I was in Phuket 2 days before the Tsunami, now Thailand again has floods: the world is a beautiful place if we keep it that way.
TheSkinnyCook from neighbouring Malaysia, also flooded in Johor…

Rough choices I know. Right now I have to decide which mountain I want to ski. Do I want 6″ of fresh powder or do I want 11″?
Hopefully I’ll be heading to Thailand within the year. With any luck I’ll have to start making hard decisions like those.

Adam Mayfield, glad you have a similar choice of good options! There are so many mountains, hehe! And all the best for your resolutions for the New Year… :D

Have just returned from a great trip to Phuket, stayed at West of Eden in the northeastern part which is less hetic than south areas, great resort and wonderful bays. We rented a motorcycle for only 450 baht per day and would drive around the entire area. So many tremendous localises to dine, our cherished spot was Thai Food Heaven which had the most tremendous view over the beach, the faculty was really nice and the food so yummy, we would go for sunset cocktails. My boyfriend and I had a brilliant time in Phuket City and will be back for Songkran.
